4 nights – 5 days: Ocean, rivers, rainforest, beaches and whales
Pacific Ocean Region (Nuquí, Ensenada de Utría, Guachalito, Joví and Coquí)

-Flights Medellín – Nuquí- Medellín (maximum 10 k (in the hold) and 5k (in cabin))
-Boat transfers Nuqui to Guachalito and back (45 mn aprox)
-Tourist tax – Entrance to Nuqui
-4 nights’ accommodation in the Ecohotel (rustic cabins, equipped with a mosquito net, fan and private bathroom).
-Welcome cocktail, breakfasts, lunches and dinners prepared by the best cooks in the region.
-Entrance to Termales hot springs + guide for forest walk
-Whale watching boat tour (Season: July to November)
-Visit to the waterfalls “Cascadas del amor”, with local guide.
-Community support: Joining with the local community (volunteer work): beach cleanup or gathering and sowing of endemic seeds. (Includes implements and snacks)
-Entrance to the natural national park “Ensenada de Utría”
-Kayak in the mangrove.
-Entrance to the “corregimiento” with local guide included.
-Tour by Chingo (typical river transport) across the Jovi River with a guide from the Pichindé Foundation.
-Local gastronomic sample in Jovi (as lunch).
-Transportation by boat from Jovi to Guachalito.
-Basic travel kit (repellent, kleenex wipes, flashlight, dizziness pills, chewing gum, water and waste bags)
-Medical and accident insurance.

It does not include alcoholic beverages, excess baggage, tips or other items that are not described in this list, nor extra activities such as surfing, diving and massages.
Day 1: Arrival, hike and waterfalls
08h00 Flight from Medellín to Nuquí
09h00: Arrival and tour of the municipality of Nuquí.
Transfer by boat to the ecohotel in Guachalito, (45 mm approx.). Welcome-cocktail and lunch
16h00: Guided hike for 1 hour (30 minutes each way) through the beach and the jungle, to the waterfalls “Cascadas del amor”.
Dinner in front of the sea and overnight at the Ecohotel
Tip: Plankton observation: a nice ritual to greet the Pacific Ocean.
Day 2: Utría cove and mangrove
Breakfast and departure to the national park “Ensenada de Utría”, visit to the natural mangrove museum “, kayak tour and informative talk about the park. Snorkel (optional).
Then, we will go to the natural thermal springs of Juribidá and 15 minute walk through the jungle (with local guide). Typical lunch “Viudo de pescado” (fish), with a glass of wine.
In the afternoon, return to Guachalito, special dinner and overnight at the Ecohotel
Day 3: Joví river and local gastronomic sample
11h00: Second guided walk to Jovi (1 hour and 15 minutes).
Special gastronomic sample prepared by one of traditional cooks of the region.
Tour by Chingo (typical river transport) through the peacefully Jovi River to visit the natural site “la felicidad” and bath in “la chontadura” waterfall.
Dinner and overnight at the Ecohotel
Day 4: Community support
Day dedicated to share with the local community: Search and knowledge of endemic seeds of wood. Pause to rest and have a snack.
Cultural exchange with local people. Lunch. Sowing of the seeds in the reserve area of the Pichindé Foundation.

Day 5: Goodbye Nuquí !!
Breakfast and transfer by boat to the airport.
At 10h00 Flight to Medellín (Olaya Herrera). Goodbye Nuquí !!
